Across this 5-part podcast series below, I chat with Becky Hammond from Isogo Strong and unpack some common leadership themes that we have seen stand out during this crisis. The leaders that genuinely care about their people, that know that leadership is about the people and create an environment for the team to thrive. These are the leaders who give a damn.

I’ve had the privilege to work for some leaders who truly gave a damn about their people. They’ve left a lasting impact on me and I appreciate the impact they made not just in my career and learning but my life.

I’ve also had the rewarding experience of coaching some leaders who care about their people, want to make a difference and leave a lasting impact. These leaders fill me with energy and continually inspire me to improve as a coach and be better at what I do.

In 2015, I hopped on a hotel shuttle bus in Omaha on my to the first CliftonStrengths Summit. On that bus I met Becky Hammond from Isogo Strong. We immediately clicked and now have an amazing friendship. Becky is a maven in the Strengths world, partnering with organisations across the USA to build cultures where people are more engaged and thrive. Becky also inspires couples and mums to look at life differently through a lens of strengths, focussing on what’s right and getting more flow back into their lives. Becky is also a very talented writer and creative, an awesome mum and she has a beautiful laugh too (it shines when I stuff up on our podcasts and videos!)

Becky and I share a common passion for leadership and strengths and have partnered to create the Leaders Who Give a Damn program. We have come together to explore some of the most important aspects of leadership that are perhaps LEAST talked about yet have the opportunity to be MOST impactful in your role as leader.
